Project JingNong - China
Prins Group builds a new project in China. Also in this project the main goal is not only to grow vegetables, but also to share horticultural knowledge.
The JingNong project (or Intelligent Greenhouse Industrial Park Project), in the Daxing area, is a great example of modern agriculture in China, which is getting very popular. This project is located close to Beijing Daxing International Airport (or the Beijing-Capital Second Airport) and will be ready on 2019. Therefore, serving the airport with high quality vegetables will be one of its marketing channels. The total project covers an area of 30 ha and is divided into three phases.
First phase has started
The first phase includes 6 ha of tomato greenhouse and auxiliary facilities, which is expected to be ready in 2018. It is a high-tech glass greenhouse equipped with heating, cooling, lighting, screening, fogging, drip irrigation, ventilation, roof cleaning, computerized automation system, etc.
The greenhouse is designed to have continuous open window, high pressure fogging system, outside screen and high Haze glasses because of the high temperature during summer. Double screen, heating pipes, and growing pipes will be installed for the demand of the cold winter. The cooling system can make sure the young plants have the optimum temperature even during the hottest months. UV light disinfection and RO units are designed in the irrigation system to make sure plants get high quality water.
